Welcome to TCH!

TCH was initially started as a program to help members of my guild to figure out how much of what ingredient they needed to collect and send to the crafters, in order to get their desired items made. Aion uses a system where in crafting you need the result product of one attempt to fuel the next level of the same type of item. This complicates matters as you might or might now get the desired item. It muddles up the total amount of necessary items, and TCH tries to keep this in mind as it calculates the totals.

While it is intended for crafters primarily, anyone can use it to figure out what they need exactly.

TCH is now hosted on www.aionwh.com, a community project that indexes items directly from Aion. TCH can use the AionWH database for retrieving of information posted by all the people taking part in the AionWH project.

If you are interested in checking out AionWH, go have a look. TCH runs independant and an internet connection is optional. (You can even configure TCH to never connect to the internet at all).



TCH can do the following for you:

• List all possible products and ingredients of all recipies ingame
• List all available recipies ingame
• Sort through all recipes by (partial) name, rarity, craft, levelrange, race or any combination of these
• Sort through all items by (partial) name, rarity or class. (Though most items are either for both races or for Elyos)
• You can group everything either alphabetically of by level
• For every recipe show the stats of the product item(s) it takes
• Show you what items are used in what recipes; Handy when you find new item ingame and don't know what to do with it
• Calculate the totals of every necessary ingredient including prices (including using your side's price and tax ratio)
• Calculate the server base tax (the bit of the price you don't see). Due to rounding factors this is not precise and the final price of items might be off by a few kinah.
• Alter the amount of each product and sub-component on the fly as you craft
• You can craft any recipe or any subrecipe anywhere from 1 through to 1,000,000 times
• To ease clicking, you can use the shift key to increment your click value by 10, control key for 100 and both for 1000
• Lock down subcomponents when you are done with them and consequently unlock them when you have to go for another try
• TCH saves all entered settings and filters automatically as well as the windowsize
• Presents the total tally of everything in basic text, so you can paste it to a forum or chatprogram
• TCH will inform you when there is a newer version available for download
• Using the 'shopping list' tab in combination with the recipe view, you can very quickly click together all the ingredients for (for example) a full armor set
• Alternatively you can use the shopping list to keep track of exactly what you used during the crafting process
• You can decide whether to include items in the shopping list on an recipe-by-recipe basis
• You can maintain custom recipe collections to reflect your ingame abilities
• If desired, TCH can retrieve pricing data from AionWH so you can compare your prices to the average of your (or any other) server
• TCH can retrieve your server's tax rates from Aiononline.com at the click of a button

To run TCH you need to have .Net installed, version 2.0 or later. If you don't have it or aren't sure, you can find the latest edition here.
TCH does not use a whole lot of memory or processor power but as always, more is better!

You can download the latest version of TCH here (About 6MB in zipped size) -- There is a 'full' and a 'program' version;
'full' version meaning everything, and 'program' version just the program, no icons. (TCH runs fine without the icons)
